About the Opportunity

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will drive the full life-cycle recruiting and help coordinate university recruiting initiatives in collaboration with our Human Resources team. You will play a critical role in the growth and ongoing hiring needs of the enterprise in a creative and forward-thinking fashion and work on strategic projects to enhance how we attract and recruit college talent. Having a mindset that seeks continuous improvements in an innovative, high volume, fast-paced environment will be key in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full-life cycle recruitment for engineering and technical roles, from intake through onboarding
    • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill engineering skill sets
    • Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and industry outreach
    • Conduct resume and application reviews within the ATS to evaluate technical competencies and overall alignment with role requirements.
    • Perform phone screens to assess technical qualifications, problem-solving ability, and role alignment
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews to ensure a seamless and timely candidate experience.
    • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on role requirements and hiring strategy
    • Manage offer development, negotiation, and onboarding transition
  • Coordinate university recruiting initiatives
    • Career fair coordination
    • Resume and application review, interview scheduling and applicant screening
    • Maintain status of candidates within internal systems
    • Timely candidate communication
    • Attend career fairs as needed to recruit candidates and increase company brand recognition.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to provide consultative recruiting support and market insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience
  • Support broader HR initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related major. 
  • 1-5 years in full life cycle recruiting (engineering recruiting experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic Human Resources functions.
  • Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, with the aptitude to learn quickly.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in collecting, analyzing, organizing and reporting information.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong team collaboration.
  • Highly motivated to work independently and productively.
  • Knowledge of iCIMS ATS is desirable.
