IT Infrastructure Technician

As an IT Infrastructure Technician at RoviSys you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of our enterprise systems. • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT staff to implement security measures and protocols.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related problems.
• Assist in documenting network configurations and procedures.
• Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• This is an in-person position requiring on-site attendance at our office in Aurora, OH
• Some travel required

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN).
• Basic understanding of enterprise storage concepts and technologies
• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Any experience with the following is considered a plus:
  • Firewalls
  • Veeam Backup and Replication
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Network Access Control systems
  • VMware vSphere
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Office 365
  • Dell Servers

Other requirements:

• The ability to lift and carry or otherwise move 75lbs regularly or occasionally
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying a certain amount of weight
• Bending, crawling, stooping, standing, vision, lifting, walking
• Sitting and standing for extended periods of time

• Competitive Base Salary: $24hr - 29hr, depending on experience
