Overview

RoviSys, a Parsec-certified partner, is looking for engineering resources experienced in the application of holistic TrakSYS-based MES solutions (including Batch, Compliance, Production, Quality, Traceability, and/or Performance) to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers and/or RoviSys functional analysts to define functional requirements based upon the capabilities of the TrakSYS platform and typical means of extension
  • Design, configure, commission, and qualify TrakSYS software solutions
  • Lead development of extensions to the TrakSYS platform using compatible programming languages as required
  • Create documentation describing solution implementation aspects
  • Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced team members
  • Required to travel to customer sites to perform requirement gathering, deployment, and post-deployment support activities.
  • Will have the opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge across various industries and manufacturing processes, working as part of a project team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in related field
  • Technical competency in C# and SQL database programming
    • Implementation experience pertaining to the TrakSYS MES platform, including the following aspects:
    • Connectivity to shop floor data sources and historians
    • Interaction with the SQL data sources (requiring T-SQL query / stored procedure development).
    • Design or development of one or more of the following TrakSYS modules: Batch, Compliance, Production, Quality, Traceability, and/or Performance
    • Configuration of associated client displays and web reports
    • Configuration of modern web-based user interfaces using TrakSYS' associated technologies
  • Possesses TrakSYS training certifications or will be expected to have the skill-set required to obtain such certification upon employment
  • Ability to integrate new software modules with existing systems
  • Systems (controls) or software engineering background
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or software development field
