We have an immediate need for a Lead Instrumentation Engineer in Aurora, OH.
Responsibilities
Serves as Lead Engineer on project work for clients and is responsible for gathering and analyzing technical data used to furnish a design package of instruments to fulfill scope of work requirements that include, generating instrument lists, I/O lists, specifications, procurement submittals, operation & maintenance documents, training, and related design documents.
Actual hands-on experience with specifying, procuring, and calibrating instruments (i.e. flow, level, temperature, analytical, pressure, etc.).
Perform as lead instrumentation engineer interfacing with customers.
Maintain effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers, and clients.
Perform basic field commissioning and start-up of process control systems as they relate to instrumentation.
Direct and check the work of designers and engineers ensuring all standards are met.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in related engineering field (preferable electrical or mechanical engineering).
Three plus (3+) or more years experience with specifying, procuring, and calibrating instruments
Knowledge of all facets of process instrumentation
Experience with PLC programs and operator interface software
Experience with P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematic diagrams, panel layout and detail drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel)
